Sam Rice is a California-based photographer whose life is centered around the outdoors. Sam majored in Commercial Recreation Management and received a Certificate in Digital Arts from the University of Utah. His love for the outdoors continued to grow while in Utah along with his need to capture authentic moments of biking, ski touring, off-roading and many other activities. 

Sam recently moved to the mountains of Big Bear Lake, California where he continues to bike almost everyday. When he isn’t taking pictures, you can find Sam adventuring in his Land Cruiser or renovating his 1967 A-Frame. He was one of eight emerging talents selected to participate in the first American Red Bull Rising Talent event in Los Angeles, where he learned valuable tips and insights into the real-life business side of photography. Sam’s work has been featured on outdoor, biking and retail websites.
